Week 2

 Part 1
  1. What brand did you select?
I selected the product called Les Labs Hair Health.
2.  What is it’s “value proposition”?
This is an all natural supplement you take to improve hair growth, and strength. It also promotes healthy hair, skin and nail growth.
3. What are THREE things people are saying?
People are saying they are very pleased with the product, it works great, and it actually really works. These reviews were on amazon. Les Labs also has a Facebook page with many great reviews on other product they create.
4. If you were the brand manager, how would you respond?
I would respond in a very positive way. I would want to get my product brand out there even more, by making package deals and much more. I think having your own booth at a County fair, or at a street fair is very effective for customers to try your product, and to also get your name out there.

Part 2

Article Summary:

The article “ 12 of the Best Marketing and Advertising Campaigns of All Time” beings to tell us about what exactly is a advertising campaign, it's a group of ads all surrounding one topic. This is used in many different ways shapes and forms, but all meaning the same thing. The article goes on to express the top twelve marketing and advertising campaigns. The first one is Nike “Just Do It”. When Nike started off Reebok was their top competitor in the shoe industry. Nike came up with the “Short and Sweet” slogan “Just Do It” later on in the 1980’s. Soon after sales went up rapidly making Nike number one.

What is the Marketing Challenge?:

The marketing challenge is creating your brand, whether it's a slogan, catchy song, or a logo you just can't let go. Once, you build that amazing brand that appeals to many consumers out there, you can start building your business's foundation. The article talks about the best way to present your brand. In quotes Kolowich says “ask yourself what problem are you solving for your customers. What solution does your product or service provide”? These are very important bullet points, when deciding on how you want to develop as a company.

What did you learn and can apply in class?:

Reading the article by Lindsay Kolowich opened my eyes to many different ways. I learned that creating a business, or anything else in this world you need to have a brand. However everyone pretty much knows that already, but the catch is that the brand isn't for you at all. It's not what you prefer it's what your customer prefers, and wants. As an entrepreneur you are connecting with your customers by building trust, and relationships. Yes you also have to love your brand, but when making your brand you need to put your customers best interest in mind. Since that's what you'll be doing from that point there on out. Once, you establish an emotional connecting with your clients it's hard to lose them nor forget them. This is what every company wants and needs. I can apply this in my class by understanding more how important it is to care, and love your customers. How you need to have passion, and love for what you do, or else you will have nothing at all.
